Up for bid is this rare,
hand colored
original linocut print mounted on wood by the artist Joe Hodnicki.
Jersey native, Joe Hodnicki is a versatile artist who has
produced custom-shaped surfboards, launched a clothing line, "Okoto", tried his hand at creating everything from illustrations to furniture and also started his own design company, "Sharing the Stoke". He has worked with Nike, Sony Records and video-sharing company Vimeo (he created a 60-foot mural that will provide the centerpiece of the company’s booth at Buttermilk among others, and produced designs for New York and San Diego surf film festival merchandise. Joe is the official artist of the San Diego surf film festival.  He also has worked closely with nonprofits – among them Adaptive Action Sports, which creates and promotes events for people living with physical disabilities and has ties to both the Summer and Winter X Games. This surf themed
hand colored
(watercolor) linocut block print with two hands holding a surf board and titled "Hand Crafted" is in excellent condition. It is signed in pen on the lower left side and again signed and titled on the backside with black marker. This item is a great art piece for the surfing fan and is ready to hang in any art collection or decor.
